Introduction She´s the One
My studies
I'm studying at Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences as an adult student.
My degree is called Degree Programme
in Cultural Production and Management which will eventually lead to the degree
of Bachelor of Culture and Arts.
As an adult student the time of studies is shorter, because I have a lot of
former education and job experience.
I will complete my studies in December 2010.
My current job
I´m a Freelance journalist, Web Designer and the Editor-in-chief at
electronic journal Miämedia.
I have my own office at home upstairs "Allu´s Emola Media Center", where I work
with my computer. Sometimes I must work at night. I´m used to working alone. I
like this work. When I´m working I listen to music.
Now I´m updating new Websites to "Mikkelin Mobilistit" and collecting
advertisments for our "17. Suur-Saimaan ympäriajo 27. - 28.6.2009" -magazine.
The magazine will contain 20 pages this year, because we have got many new
advertisers and sponsors. We have chosen 170 old museum cars (over 30 years old
cars and vehicles) to "The Trip around Lake Saimaa" ( 300 kilometers trip in two
days) and the list of them will take 3 or 4 pages. I put the map In the middle
of the
magazine. The magazine contains a few special articles like
"Wellcome to Our Trip!" by Matti Lahti. He is our director of Suur-Saimaan
ympäriajotoimikunta. There are also important phonenumbers.
I´m going to interview one old member of Mikkelin Mobilistit to the magazine.
Seppo Pesu knows a lot of old cars. I think that he brings nostalgy to
present. Seppo Pesu is also a musician and an accordionist. He composed a
beautiful "Mobiilitango" last year and now you can buy his first album. The
album "Mobiilitango" contains six songs.
I´m the editor-in-chief at electronic journal Miämedia. In May our
electronic journal "Miämedia - Mikkelin Ääni Verkossa (www.miamedia.fi)" will
be renewed. We are going to have new Web-Design and easier WordPress-program
and more pictures and videos. All our correspondents will have education in our
Mediapaja. They will get new instructions and they can have a training course
for two days in our Folk High School in Otava (Otavan Opisto). Then I will be
there all the time and teach them who haven't had training earlier with
usernames and passwords and give more help. Everybody needs their own
email-addresses,
where we send new passwords. I like to work in our Mediapaja-workshop very much
and I have a lot of friends there. We help each other and teach those, who
haven´t been in education earlier. Now we have over 50 members in our
Mediapaja-workshop. We are doing this electronical journal together.
